We have heard learned counsel for th e parties for some time. Learned counsel
for the respondent states that the Nationa l Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) is
willing to clarify that the appellant has ceased to be a defaulter and its name will be
removed from NSE’s list of defaulters. NSE will also issue a circular and press release
in this regard. NSE will take this action within a period of one week from today.
In view of the statement made on behalf of NSE, learned counsel for the
appellant requests that he may be permitted to withdraw the appeal.
